Shown here is the San Francisco Pacifics team of the Bay Area Vintage Base Ball League. The six-team leaguse has been playing for 10 years and is the first and longest running in the Bay Area. They play by the rules of 1886.
What is Vintage Baseball?
Vintage Base Ball is base ball played by the rules and customs of an erlier time in the game's evolution. Organized vintage teams wear period reproduction uniforms, either with long trouser and shield shirt, or a later style lace shirt and knickers.
